Muse to all the great pre-raphaelite painters. Here a copy of a truly lovely painting by Dante Gabriel Rosetti. I’ll never live up to that standard, so instead I took the opportunity to play with a lot of colors

Three edits of the same photo – coal supply rail bridge, near the harbor in Ã…rhus. From a photowalk in 2018
10x10cm. Trying to do something other than large and medium portrait style paintings.
It started out as a portrait of Holly Hunter based on a screencap from ‘The Piano’. However the context and background – rain and mud splatters all over didn’t work in the painting. It just came off as odd and unexplained. So I left it in a fairly unfinished state, gave her a nice face mask and painted the background a violent shade of orange. And now I like the thing much better. So; it must be done.
This is probably my best work. Or at least the most effortless looking.
Another self portrait. I used it as a base for my galaxy collage
A newer collage. Spring 2019
This is my first real attempt at at portrait. So why not go for my all time hero; Alan Moore. What could possibly go wrong!!
It does look very different from the photo it was based on. And yet, I like it a lot. This I even managed to sell back in 2013
